And I cant wait to play the new Splinter Cell - but I think the multi-play might not be that great.

They say that BF Vietnam has alot better graphics than the original, I just hope I dont have to buy a new Vid card the day ofter I buy it.

Does anyone know the "BEST" video card available?
And does anyone have any tweaks that they use to boost performance while gaming?

For me,
I purchased an Nvidia GForce4 4800 Ti Se (I think thats right) about a year or two ago and I have hated it! I wish I had gone with the ATI. The card has done fine but the drivers for the video in/out, and other extras it came with, have been a pain. But I do like the new drivers they came out with. It automatically adjusts for different games like Halo and such instead of me having to manually change settings everytime.

And for tweaks: When playing BF1942/Desert Combat I always shut down Explorer manually and then start the game from the Task Manager - I have found if I do this that when closing the game or changing servers the system is less likely to lock up.
